A holder with magnetic hold fits directly for the iPhone 12 series and all later iPhones with the magnetic MagSafe function on the back side, except for the SE models and 16e. These phones can be attached directly to such a holder, either with a MagSafe cover or without a cover.

The metal ring can be attached to the back of all phones that were not born with the magnetic MagSafe function.
So if you have a magnetic holder and an older iPhone or an Android phone, you can use this metal ring if there are several of you who would like to use the same Fix2Car magnetic mobile holder. When using this ring, it is a good idea, if your phone can accept wireless charging, not to use wireless charging when you have this ring on, because you will not be able to hit the phone's charging point exactly and the phone will risk instead just being really hot and maybe not charging at all (wireless).
